We discuss the glorious origins of the festival and its descent into a capitalist hellscape built on the labor of unpaid volunteers and rife with sexual harassment. Fortunately, there are lots of heroic community members working to build local festivals and change the toxic culture. Among them is our anonymous interview subject who gave us all the tea!
